

Town Working Committee at Birgunj on Saturday, Mahato reiterated that the elections would be held peacefully after their demands were heeded. He clarified that the UDMF will join the new government provided their demands were addressed. “We will continue will our capital centric agitation more stringently till our demands are met,” added Mahato. Leader of the United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) and Chairman of Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato has stated that the Front will not allow any elections to take place unless their demands were fulfilled. Mahato, also former Minister, further said that no local bodies’ election and other elections will be allowed to hold unless the new constitution secures the rights of the Madheshi community and addressed the issue of delineation of federal states.
