Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ananda Prasad Pokharel, handed over the awards to the winners.On the occasion, Minister Pokharel spoke of the important role the photographers have played in promoting and developing Nepal’s entire tourism sector.The top hundred photos of the contest will be exhibited at the Nepal Art Council Gallery, Babarmahal from June 12 to 14. A total of 686 photos contested for the awards. The Kathmandu Photographers Association has conferred the ‘Cannon KPA Wedding Photo Award 2016’ to photographer Gaurav Rijal.Photographer Nanda Shrestha has bagged the second and fourth prizes whereas Sandesh Prajapati has won the third prize and Kishor Rijal the firth prize.Minister for Culture,
