On the occasion, acting District Education Officer of Bhaktapur Govinda Raj Sedai said the government target would be met only after the quality of education in public schools is enhanced. The programme was presided over by school management committee chair Buddha Tamang. Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said the Education Bill recently enacted by the parliament would help enhance quality education in the country. Speaking at a silver jubilee function of Saraswoti Secondary School in Suryabinayak municipality-11 of Bhaktapur today, Minister Pokharel expressed his confidence that the Bill would contribute to bring comprehensive changes in the education sector.
